Dr.Shine’s acupuncture session is tailored to the individual requirements of his client, whether that’s helping with anxiety or offering effective pain relief. His session begins with a consultation, during a consultation, He will do a full medical history and be looking to identify the cause of any problems or imbalances. From there a selection of points will be chosen. He will then insert several very fine needles which will be left in position for around 15-20 minutes. Acupuncture is typically painless, and patients often report a great sense of relaxation during and after the treatment. Over a course of treatment cumulative benefit can be seen. Dr. Shine Acupuncture session also includes other techniques such as dry cupping, manipulative therapy and acupressure.

FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE
Facial acupuncture, also known as cosmetic acupuncture, is a non-surgical and non-invasive treatment that involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the face and body.
The theory behind facial acupuncture is that the needles stimulate the body’s natural healing processes, increasing circulation, reducing inflammation, and encouraging the production of collagen and elastin. This can result in a brighter, more even complexion, reduced wrinkles and fine lines, and improved skin texture.
This treatment includes face lift massage and neck massage.

DRY NEEDLING ACUPUNCTURE
Dry needling acupuncture is a new medical modality for treating patients with soft tissue pain and sports injuries. Integrative Systemic Dry Needling (ISDN) is a unique medical procedure that is designed to restore and normalize soft tissue dysfunction. It is a new development in clinical technique that is different from both conventional dry needling and classic acupuncture, although it shares the same physiologic mechanism as both methods.
